Not a big story in a game in Quebradillas where 6th rankedPiratas (4-15) were defeated by second ranked Criollos (11-7) 119-112 on Thursday. Caguas made 24-of-28 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. It was a great evening for American center Moses Brown (218-1999, college: UCLA) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 15 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Louis King (201-1999, college: Oregon) helped adding 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Criollos' coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American center Thomas Robinson (203-1991, college: Kansas) with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds and DR Congolese guard Emmanuel Mudiay (196-1996) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Caguas maintains second place with 11-7 record having six points less than leader San German. Loser Piratas keep the sixth position with 15 games lost.
